Loyalty
I value loyalty because I observed relationships throughout my life. Witnessing many breakups in marriages and friendships made me wonder how people could throw away long-lasting connections. Therefore, I, made a personal decision that everyone matters, regardless of differences or circumstances. I married at a very young age. When he an I divorced, I made it clear to him that I was always there if he needed me. I realized my offer was foreign to him, but I meant what I had said, in which he realized years later when he contacted me for a place to stay. Over the years, I have maintained a few friendships, and I believe loyalty was crucial for our lasting relationship. Differences are inevitable, as I shared with them and without a commitment to loyalty, we would surely have part ways.
My belief, if we are close enough to share the most intimate parts of ourselves, then we are worth the fight even if it looks different.
