In reading this question I contemplated answering it for a few reasons. One, I hate that it’s a sore subject and two, I’d like to answer this with a definite no but, truth sets us free, so the answer is yes!
Several years ago, I was in a situation where someone obtain a lot of scriptural knowledge and me being new to all of this questioned some of the things I’d see from this individual and to say the least it went over like a lead balloon.
I think everyone has the right to choose for themselves what they trust in, but it seems to me if two people are like minded and have the same beliefs we should look similar in our words and actions, not be polar opposites.
The outcome revealed a side to the person I was unfamiliar with and my struggles stem from the inability to ask a question and the hidden side I knew nothing of.
In order to grow we have to know, and my question remains the same today as it did then, if we can’t ask how will we ever learn?
