Prayer is an open intimate conversation with our Father. We can actually speak to Him and He listen. Psalm 116 states, I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.
Proverbs 15 references His delight in the prayer of the upright. What a blessing to know we have a Heavenly Father who actually wants to hear from us. How many times do you ring a phone to someone with caller ID and no answer? Thats not the result from the Father. The awesome convenience of this is we can pray, talk to Him, anywhere, anytime and anyplace. We don’t need a landline if that’s even a thing today or a charged cell phone or computer. An open heart receives an open ear!
