Contrary to popular belief it hasn’t changed nor will it ever. In the Bible it states in Hebrews Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Forever is defined, for all future time, for always, lasting and permanent.
The Books of truth, the Bible is our life map, the instructional pages to success. When we accept John 3:16 as the most loving act a person could do, we see the words we read, from a loving Father. If we could be humble enough, to privately, ask ourselves, could I give my life willingly for my dearest friend? How about a stranger? You see the truth in this book reveals there was a life given in an unimaginable way for people who didn’t even know HIM! 1 John 4:19 reveals we love, because he first loved us. That alone reveals the love we share was initiated by Him.
I understand many refuses to believe, and others feel it’s history or perhaps a dictator of do’s and don’ts, but I challenge you, take a moment, examine for yourself: what are we being asked to do or not to do?
At first glance I see several things. For instance, honor your father and mother, do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, just to name a few. So, in short, we are not to treat our parents any ole way, go around killing just because, swiping things that do not belong to us, and sleeping with spouses that are not ours. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I’m not sure about you but I pray no one ever steals my belongings or murders me for any reason. So, my plea to anyone this finds give God a chance to show himself to you in a personal way and not through cultural beliefs, your friends beliefs or even your families beliefs and you may be glad you did.
It never changes, the Father loves you yesterday today and forever if you will just believe!
